5 Random Reasons To Love Japan

1-  Lockers available for storage

There are lockers at most subway stations where you can store your belongings.   In many stations, there are ones that are even big enough for your luggage!  So, if you have already checked out of your hotel and want to do some last minute shopping before your flight,  you don’t have to worry about lugging your bag around.

2-  Public bathrooms everywhere

For someone with a very small bladder,  I am so grateful there are restrooms at all train stations!  And they are clean!

3- Well-equipped bathroom stalls

Some bathrooms have everything you need inside the stall – toilet, sink, hand soap and dryer.

4- Always a place for your bag

Isn’t it nice to have a designated spot to put down your bag while you dig for your wallet?  That is how clever the Japanese people are.  In small restaurants, they provide a basket for your belongings that you can tuck under the chair or table.

5 – Food menu with pictures

These plastic food samples look like the real thing!  So even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can simply point to what you want.

Now don’t you wish you have some of these things in your country?  How can you not fall in love with Japan?

I have always loved traveling but did not venture out on my own until I was in my mid-20s. After my first solo adventure to Vietnam, I have fallen in love with the freedom and exhilaration of traveling alone. I would like to use this blog to document my travels and record memorable stories I do not want to forget. It will be a platform to share useful information and hear about others' experiences and thoughts, not necessarily about travels but also on life in general. Live a simple and meaningful life, enjoy learning along the way, travel the world and explore the unknown!
